1. Re: What's on the Disk 4 "Content" disk???
Steve Grisetti Oct 31, 2011 8:47 AM (in response to doane2u)In the box you'll find two Windows installation discs and two Mac installation discs. Each set includes 1) a program installation disc and 2) a content installation disc.
No need to install more than one content disc. In fact, the second content/installation disc set probably won't even load into your computer.

2. Re: What's on the Disk 4 "Content" disk???
doane2u Oct 31, 2011 8:28 PM (in response to Steve Grisetti)Yes... I know that...I happen to have Windows and disk #2 is the Windows main program install disk, but what is on the #4 Windows disk called "Content?" It isn't automatically installed with the install and I can find no information about what it installs if one chooses to install it. What is on the disks labeled "Content?"
Thanks,

3. Re: What's on the Disk 4 "Content" disk???
Bill Hunt Nov 1, 2011 6:30 AM (in response to doane2u)I do not have the discs handy, so cannot positively address them by their numbers/names, but Content contains many DVD/BD Menu Set Templates, Themes, and a bunch of Title Templates. Installation of this Content is optional, and it does take up a lot of HDD space, but offers a full compliment of extras.
Good luck,
Hunt

4. Re: What's on the Disk 4 "Content" disk???
Steve Grisetti Nov 1, 2011 6:34 AM (in response to Bill Hunt)And, again -- Disc 1 is the Windows installation disc. Disc 2 is the content disc.
Disc 3 is the Mac installation disc. Disc 4 is the Mac content disc. This is why your computer will only see content on two of the discs.

5. Re: What's on the Disk 4 "Content" disk???
doane2u Nov 1, 2011 8:46 AM (in response to Steve Grisetti)Steve: Not in my set.. I just got PE10 with five disks. #1 is the Windows 32bit install, #2 is the Windows install for 64bit (mine), #3 is the Mac install, #4 is the Windows "content" and #5 is the Mac "content" disk.
I was hopeing someone would have some links with lists of exactly what is on the content disk. Is there a manual on it, or any tutorials, or are they only on line?
Also, I noticed that on the content disk there are seperate folders with seperate installs, would be nice to know what they are as I don't need a bunch of templates for back grounds, etc., but I might be interested in different text styles, etc.
Thanks,
-
6. Re: What's on the Disk 4 "Content" disk???
Bill Hunt Nov 1, 2011 8:52 AM (in response to doane2u)The material on that Content Disc is mentioned in Reply 3.
Good luck,
Hunt

8. Re: What's on the Disk 4 "Content" disk???
doane2u Nov 1, 2011 9:45 PM (in response to Bill Hunt)Thanks Hunt, that was helpful, but I wanted to know specifically what is in each folder/install on the content disk as I haven't been able to find out and no ones seemed to know so far

9. Re: What's on the Disk 4 "Content" disk???
doane2u Nov 1, 2011 9:51 PM (in response to nealeh)Nealeh: Thank you so much.. that was what I was looking for and could not find. I did a search on Adobe in the Premier Elements 10 for "content" and "disk 4" but couldn't find this. I wish they had some examples too, but from what I have seen in other areas, these are not something I want on my drive and would not be used as I like to make up my own "theams", etc. Thanks again, and thanks everyone for helping.
