[Chinese and Japanese Web help] index not order

All,

We are using RH 8 to localize Web Help and Window HTML help into JA and Chinese.

The Index Window HTML help for Ja and Chinese are working well (Order correctly)

However, for Web Help, the index is not ordered correctly. It is different from Window HTMLhelp.

My understanding is that a common index file is used for building HTML help and WebHelp. Am I correct ?

Anyone who know the above issue, please advice.

Many Thanks !!

Hi,

For the index you can choose between using an index file or storing index keywords in the topics. Which method are you using? Check the project setings.

Can you open the index and sort the index keywords from the context menu?

Willam

Thanks for your reply

I am using an index file. In the workspace menu, the index has been sorted. However, the WebHelp's index is shown in different order from Index in workspace menu

Mmmh... What happens if you generate 508 compliant output? Is the index sorted correctly then?
