2. Re: how to fix 'file already exists, code 6' cs5.03 win7 64bit bluray please
tfi productions 44 Nov 8, 2011 9:34 AM (in response to Volodymyr Kashuba)hello,
thank you for the link
i exported my bluray project as a 'folder' and not an iso.
the folder i exported to has 2 folders in it BDMV and a temp folder
when i used img burn to put the project on a 50gb blu ray disc
i included the temp folder and contents
however,
when i play the disc in my oppo bluray player
there is no menu navigation / buttons
i have to go into folders and then select the streams to play
my question: did i mess up the navigation by burning that temp folder?
should i only burn the BDMV folder?
thanks,
j

tfi productions 44 Nov 8, 2011 11:18 AM (in response to Stan Jones)hello,
should i rename the temp folder to certificate before burning to disc?
when you burn folders with image burn the resulting disc should still have
the menu navigation with buttons (designed in encore), correct?
thanks again,

Stan Jones Nov 8, 2011 11:50 AM (in response to tfi productions 44)CERTIFICATE is a folder created by the build folder. You seemed to be saying you had a temporary folder of some sort.
Burn exactly what Encore creates to disk.

the menu navigation with buttons (designed in encore), correct?
Yes, you sould see BMDV and CERTIFICATE folders in the window that shows what ImgBurn is going to burn.

before using imageburn to burn the disc?

tfi productions 44 Nov 8, 2011 3:24 PM (in response to tfi productions 44)hello,
after a lot of reading and
some digging, figured out
how my system does things:
when you tell encore to write a bdmv folder
you come out with 2 folders: bdmv and a temp folder
using image burn you load up the first bdmv folder which contains
the streams, etc.
then tell image burn to load up the certificate folder
which is hiding in the temp/db/certificate directory
very clever...
disc burns successfully and menu navigation in tact on pc
and on hdtv through set top bluray
thanks for all the help...
have a great day...

ram8kumar Nov 10, 2011 2:06 AM (in response to tfi productions 44)As far as I know, the blu-ray folder has two folders named BDMV and CERTIFICATE.
If you see a Temp folder than, I think the folder burning is not complete. En first write the things in Temp folder and then put them together and finally you will see the BDMV and Certificate folder. If burning fails then, you may see this Temp folder.

Stan Jones Nov 10, 2011 5:28 AM (in response to ram8kumar)Ramesh, that is good to know. I've never seen a temp folder, and could not figure out how Jeffrey was getting one!
