Can't uninstall Flash 11.

I want to uninstall Flash 11 in order to then intall Flash 10.

Win XP 32bit, Chrome, IE, FF. I am mainly using Chrome.

This forum recommended this to uninstall Flash 11: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

I followed the instuctions. Doesn't work! Flash 11 is still there when I browse to for example youtube.

The uninstaller by the way claims Flash is uninstalled.

Can someone help?

  • are there still any files (besides FlashInstall.log) in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash ?
  • can you still see file FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl in C:\Windows\system32 ?
