All we find in the site of Adobe is a litle program tha DOES NOT install flash player.
Instead, it install one litle program (install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.exe) to do the download. And it DOES NOT DO THE JOB.
All it does is say to the user tha it could not install.
So, the question is WHERE can we find THE REAL INSTALLER?
Note: 64 bit installer/uninstaller will install/uninstall both 32 bit and 64 bit.
So for a 64 bit systems, all you needed are the 64 bit installer/uninstallers.
IE Active-X 32 bit

IE Active-X 64 bit
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax_64bit.exe
Other Browsers(Plugin) 32 bit

Sorry, I think you did not understand my question. The link above DOES NOT contain file for FULL install; only for the installer.
After the download, the program will attempt to download the REAL program that will do the job.
So, for me the question remais open.

This is the real and full installer; it does not download anything during the install.
You can disconnect your Internet connection and still successfully install Flash Player.

In that page I found this link:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe
This file has 3,6MB.
When I click it brings me this:
So, I don´t understand why you say "it does not download anything during the install".

Each time you release another version I have to waste time hunting for a link to the FULL INSTALLER (for OFFLINE installation).
Why can't you just have a page where the latest FULL INSTALLERS can easily be found by those people who need them?
There are many people who don't permit ONLINE installations (for security or operational reasons).
Personally I think only a moron clicks on any link to any live online installer.
And where are the SHA-1 checksums?

Why not save the permanent link in your bookmarks: http://www.adobe.com/special/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

I bookmarked the links to the full downloads a couple of times (I found them in the Forum).
Each time I came back they had changed and I had to search again.
Note that I am updating my Flash at every new release. So I regularly use this site.
It appears to me that the links posted on the forum go out of date with every new release (however minor).
The last page I bookmarked was recently changed so that the links just point back to the online installers (last but one release).
It seems that every time the location of the offline installers is published on the Forum, someone at Adobe hides them again.

It's nice to know that I have apparently now found the authoratative link for the downloads.
It's a pity that the people who provided the several other link references which I have found over the years were not aware of this.
(For example the last one I obtained from the forum was "http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html" which now links back to the standard online installer page for the latest version of the basic player).
I hope the link doesn't change again in the near future.
May I suggest that someone attaches some tags to this page so that it can be found using a search for "flash player offline installer" or "standalone installer" or something similar?
Presently the link you provide does not appear within the first 5 pages of results for this search.
And none of the first page of results seems to lead to the true installer.

There is also the FAQ on top of this forum: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550

Maybe add the keywords "standalone" or "offline" (or something similar) to the FAQ?
"Direct downloads" did not occur to me as a search term to use to find an offline installer.
One problem here being that "installer" is used by Adobe to mean both the "real" installer and also the small script which does the online download, hence one tries to find a suitable word to describe the "real" one.

by the way, is it possible that the link for the mac installation file is wrong in that post? (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550) I get 404..

Hi Guys,
I know it's a bit too late, but please take a look at the following page: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html. Even though the permanent link is changing, I'm shure that a quick search for old versions adobe flash player will get the right link.
Regards,
