What you suggest I did on the portion INSIDE the frame. Outside the frame is my issue - note how the center picture is clean and clear but on the background I did something - it all looks cut up and "displaced" but I did not use Displace.
I keep trying new things and of course, stupidly, after I flatened the layers and saved as a jpg when I exited it asked me if I wanted to save the psd and I muyst have hit yes because it's flatter than the proverbial pancake - driving me nut!
Thanks for looking though as I appreciate ANY comments and no response is dumb in my mind.
