    yahoo mail doesn't show table right.

      here is the code for the top of the table. I have always used Expression web and it showed up correctly. it is vertically centering the column

      <table width="900" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="10">

          HTML is HTML - doesn't matter what application writes it.

          What do you mean by "vertically centering the column"?

            imagine 3 columns. the first one has 100 lines. it looks fine. the second one has 60 lines. there are 20 blank lines at the bottom and 20 at the top. the third has 40 lines. yahoo puts 30 blank lines at the top and bottom, centering each column up and down.

            what is odd is I have being doing this same thing with a table generated by expression web for years. I don't see any difference in the code, although, obviously there must be.

              You cannot valign a table row.  You would have to do that in each of the cells.  Add

              valign="top"

              to each of those cells in the row.

                yeah, sorry, that is what I meant. this table just has three cells -- left, center, right

                  How about you show us the code on the page so we don't have to assume/guess what you actually have?
