Can't find option to modify menu..?  It's possible right?

Isn't there an interface to drag and drop widgets onto tool bars and/or create tool bars in PSCS5?   I want it to display my canvas angle up on the top line next to the zoom.

Also, is there a way to park my toolbar on the same bar/line as the file-bar?  I keep having to manually move it around -- usually I just park there, overing over it, but if I change

screen views or move the screen around, then the tool bar doesn't stay locked on the file menubar.   I don't want it to take an extra line below the menu bar -- and that's

also NOT where I need it...I'm usually drawing using tools in the middle of the doc, and to have to reach all the way across away from where I 'm working is tiring (in an RSI sense, especially)...

I was trying to create a gradiant layer and couldn't figure out why it wasn't turning out right (loooking like the existing gradient on my screen....  Kept being at wrong angles...

It had the gradient indicated in the vertical direction even though I was drawing it, visually, from left to right, on my screen, (following the line of the displayed gradient tool - a natural

      thing to do, i'd think)...

Troublle is, it doesn't seem to understand screen's being rotated.  I often rotate my canvas when drawing/working to get better angles to draw from.  So many of the tools don't adapt to this...

You rotate, your view, but your brush will now not be rotated vertical or parallel to your line of sight!  Had one that drew in the direction you dragged it -- well, it's an illusion, as if you rotate your screen, it draws bunchs of little parallel lines at an angle instead!....(have to manually readjust the brush angle each time you change views...  a real pain!)

Well...same with gradient and shape other angle tools...they don't autoadjust.

Can't help how broken that is...not likely anything I can do about that or that will be done in the near future.  BUT, just a simple thing -- like display the current angle the screen is shifted

      seems BASIC.

I mean it has a spot up their for magnification...which is important BUT it's not nearly as important as the canvas angle.  I'd rather not do with out either but if I had to, I rather have

it display rotate angle there, rather than zoom level.  How can I change this?

          You could search

          http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/

for a Feature Request to add your support to or, if none should exist yet on this topic, create a new one.

So you don't think this is an option that is currently available in photoshop.

            I'll consder that.

Though given that that forum has is run on 'get_satisfaction'...a company that that promises satisfactor for corprations looking to ignore their customers** (or make their complaints less visible), I'm not real hopeful about that avenue.

**- Consider most basic elements lacking things like email notifiction.  This ensures groups of people won't be notified about updates to a discussion -- some of which may take months for responses to be made.  There are others (no picture upload) as well; Others problems fallout with the lack of email notification of changes in the thread...

I get email-notification both from the user-to-user-Fora and from feedback.photoshop.com/, so I’m not quite sure what to make of your statement.

Anyway, the Rotate View Tool is only two versions old and judging from observation in my surroundings not many people may have incorprated it into their workflow.

So maybe the feedback on it is not very extensive yet.

And quite frankly I may not have understood all the issues you were raising in the original post – like gradients and angle tools?

Anyway, it is pretty clear that your feature request, should you make one, will be noticed by Adobe-employees – whether it will receive support by other users and be considered feasible and worth the effort is of course another matter …
