Todd_Kopriva Nov 21, 2011 5:08 PM (in response to FuelMe)Does this happen with any other applications, or just Premiere Pro?

Stephen_Spider Nov 21, 2011 10:38 PM (in response to FuelMe)I've only had this happen in a crash scenario when system memory is drained. You shouldn't have that issue.
You might try trouble shooting the 60 GB SSD - Projects/Swap. Bypass it. Put your project elswhere.

Stephen_Spider Nov 21, 2011 10:45 PM (in response to FuelMe)Don't get me wrong. Your system looks WIcked.... however is the set up for Premiere overly complex? First, I'm not a system integrator, I'm just a simple caveman really. But I can compare my two systems from work, which are.
Win 7 Pro
Core i7 980X
CS 5.03
12GB 1333 Mhz Memory
GTX 480
1TB (raid 0) system dive
2TB 7200rpm SATA 3 Video drive. - Meaning any premiere asset or cache, or export goes here.
Source materials are either AVCHD, Cannon MXF 25-50mbps, or DV.
The systems work amazingly well. I have so little problems that I have to come here looking for other people's problems.
You might try using one of your 1 TB WD Cav Black for Everything Premiere and see what that does for you.

FuelMe Nov 22, 2011 5:22 AM (in response to Todd_Kopriva)Todd, it appears to be isolated to Premiere at this point.
Thanks

Thanks

FuelMe Nov 22, 2011 5:26 AM (in response to Stephen_Spider)Thanks, Stephen.
That system worked flawlessly since I had it built beginning of this year. No such thing as overkill when it comes to video editing and you make a living from it. . This is actually scaled down, I removed the RAID setups after not finding it to be too beneficial on compressed content like AVCHD. Spreading things over as many drives as possible helps a lot.

Todd_Kopriva Nov 22, 2011 6:43 AM (in response to FuelMe)Just to be clear: Did this just start happening, but worked fine before? If things worked fine before and this problem just started happening, what changes have you made?
Have you installed the most recent updates for Premiere Pro?
Try resetting the preferences when you restart Premiere Pro.

8. Re: Single Click registers as Double Click
FuelMe Nov 22, 2011 3:28 PM (in response to Todd_Kopriva)This happened a few weeks ago. Prior to that things worked flawlessly. No changes have been made to the system other than the usual Microsoft updates. However, I'd like to say this started happening after the most recent Adobe update. I can't say for certain, though.
I have the most recent version, all updates for both Adobe as well as the OS are installed.
Clearing preferences (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT during launch) did not fix the issue.
Thanks
