    Help Shows Blank Page

Repost from Creative Suites | Macintosh Forum:

When I activate the help system for Creative Suite apps, the Adobe Help app opens and asks which program I need help with. Regardless of which application I select, I get a blank page. The tab at the top of the display area says AH_HOME.hml, but there is no content. I've done the updates which the program noted as available, but nothing has changed. I know there should be content there, because I've seen it on my Mac at home. Any suggestions on how to get the Hlp app working correctly?

      Thanks!

Mac OS 10.8.6, 8gb, CS 5.5 Design Standard.

Update: Subsequent to opening the Help app and choosing a module (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.), the app will go to the specific application section of help. However, no content is displayed.

The URL displayed at the top right of the Help app is

      http://help.adobe.com/en_US/indesign/cs/using/WSe824490e891d80bc1e63e3d1260a97791b-8000.ht ml

I can click on that URL and open the help in a browser. The URL which shows in the browser is

      http://help.adobe.com/en_US/indesign/cs/using/index.html

Which seems to indicate some wonkiness (sorry for the technical jargon).

      Any help is weclome!

      Thanks!
