Could be a bad video card or even a bad cable.
s--t! Just had video card replaced last winter (under warranty then)....
TX for tip(s).
Right again Bob. I just sent the 'problem' PDF to my wife's i-Mac and it displays fine.
Any idea of where I might shop for a replacement video card... I've heard they go for $1200... out of the picture this fiscal year.
Have you tried another cable? I once thought I had stuffed a nice 24" Dell Ultrasharp when it had a similar problem after shifting it, but one of the pins in one end of the DVI cable was bent. One tweak with some pliers later it was all fixed.
Hadware hasn't been touched, other than when dealer replaced card last year. I found one for $247 at macPalace... much less than the $1200 it would've cost me with dealer had I not had a warranty.
