I have a CF Forum (personal built) running at a host for some years,
time to time the CF server goes down.
The host says that there is a request which took : 10 000 000 ms of time.

Is it possible that a request take that amount of time,
knowing that per default there this the server request timeout set.
And I use only 2 times the tag : <cfsetting requesttimeout = "600">

For for your answer.
We need to understand from where come that problem.

Pierre.

10 000 000 ms ("ten million milliseconds") is only 167 <strike>seconds</strike> minutes.

<strike>It sounds like your host may have placed that limit at the web server end.</strike>

doesn't 1 ms = 1/1000 of a second? 10 000 000 ms is then 10 000 seconds... a lot more than 167 seconds...

Yeah, I suspect that post meant 167 minutes, or
166.66666666666666666666666666 ect. to be exact.
