adobe flash installed but not detected by all Browsers

OK I am running Vista 64bit with ie8 firebox and chrome have the latest version of flash player 11.

I have uninstalled it reinstalled flash 11 fine.... but going to youtube or any other site that uses flash player it asked to install. this happens on all browsers I tried on. please help asap

IE, Firefox and Chrome all use a different version of Flash.

IE requires the ActiveX version while Firefox doesn't. They both use a plugin though. You can get them both from here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550

In Google Chrome, the Flash player is embedded and you get it when you install that browser whether you want it or not. It auto updates in the background, so you don't have to bother with that aspect.
