Error: cannot contact reliable source

i have been trying to download the flashplayer

and at 12% i keep getting this error: cannot contact reliable source

i have tried disabling my firewall and antivurs but that didnt work

im using 64bit operating system and internet explorer 9

any idea how i can get this fixed?

Assuming you have Windows 7:

Download these two files:

http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash _player_64bit.exe

Flash Player for Internet Explorer

Close I.E.9.

Run uninstall_flash_player_64bit.exe

Reboot.

Run install_flash_player_11_active_x_64bit.exe
