1. Re: Hom to adjust intensity of effect in Magic Bullet
Studio North Films Dec 15, 2011 8:19 AM (in response to raklotv)In Premiere CS5 & CS5.5, once you have applied the effect over your clip, goto the effects panel and click the box in the looks colum, from there looks builder will load into another screen for you to adjust all your levels ect.

2. Re: Hom to adjust intensity of effect in Magic Bullet
raklotv Dec 18, 2011 8:30 AM (in response to Studio North Films)Hey, thanks a lot.
The thing is, while the looks screen has the possibility to adjust all sorts of levels, I am wondering why there isnt an overall effect button, that just makes that I can for example apply the level to 50 procent intensity... If I find some preset , adjust the blues a little bit, mess with the curves, and in the end want to turn the hole thing a bit down?
In fcp you also make adjustments in another looks screen, but then you have the possibilty to adjust the overall effect...
Cant you do that without going into the details?
Hope my question is more or less understandable..

raklotv Dec 18, 2011 8:46 AM (in response to raklotv)In fcp, theres a button in the effects panel underneath the power mask, that adjusts the overall mix

JSS1138 Dec 19, 2011 9:31 AM (in response to raklotv)In fcp you have the possibilty to adjust the overall effect...
PP doesn't have that capability. All effect adjustments are made in the effect, there's no outside control for the effect.

raklotv Dec 19, 2011 11:39 AM (in response to JSS1138)Thanks.
I couldnt really believe that there wasnt that posibility which can be very effective when your busy.
But I worked around it by choosing less hardcore presets..
so now I know..

9. Re: Hom to adjust intensity of effect in Magic Bullet
Studio North Films Dec 25, 2011 7:02 AM (in response to raklotv)Hi
In Premiere I have found a solution,
Make a copy of the file you want to create a effect to.
put the copy file above the origional as a 2nd layer,
now attach the Looks effect to the 2nd layer file.
with the Opacity you can adjust the effect.
Hope this makes sence.
