Flash Player 11 on Samsung Nexus (Ice Cream Sandwich OS) not functioning

Has anyone had problems / solved this?

I downloaded v11 from the Android Market, as adviced, installed it - but still get this error message on websites with Flash: "To view this player you need the Adobe Flash plugin" and then, when I click through, "Sorry Adobe Flash Player is not available from Adobe.com for your device's operating system and browers".

I've tried 4 different browsers...Firefox, Chrome, Opera. The only one it seems to be working on is Dolphin 3D.

Thanks for any help!

Dolphin 3D presumably is the Android browser? If so, then it looks like you need that to run Flash according Adobe's Minimum System Requirements.

the phone (samsung Nexus) easily has more capacity than the minimum system requirements.  I believe the problem lies more with the ICS OS (new on the market).

It's not a capacity issue, but rather browser related. If you check the "Known Issues" for the current version of Firefox, you'll see that Flash and a few other plugins are not supported yet: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android#Known_Issues

I would imagine that you'll find similar data somewhere for the other browsers you mentioned.
