Heathirdd Jan 4, 2012 11:08 AM (in response to Grant H)Thank you Grant...do you know if this will remove my plug-ins etc? or how I can avoid having to re-load them if at all possible (maybe not as the resetting the preferences probably does exactly that huh?)

6. Re: Photoshop CS5 will not open...?
PECourtejoie Jan 4, 2012 12:32 PM (in response to Heathirdd)Hello!
Re-creating the preferences file that way does not delete unsaved actions. Deleting the whole Preferences folder, as I've seen suggested in the past does that.

7. Re: Photoshop CS5 will not open...?
Heathirdd Jan 4, 2012 1:01 PM (in response to PECourtejoie)Hi I tried the shift, option command and it brings up 2 things: the first was the option to save plug-ins in another folder (the photoshop folder was there but not an option to choose so I selected the plug-in folder) and then the second was it asks if I want to delete the Photoshop settings so I said yes...but then it still freezes and stops while initializing my Kubota Actions....the program itself never opens all the way and I have to force quit....
