flash player 8 and native control panel

Hi

I use windows XP and IE6-Ihave flash player 10 for firefox installed and flash player 8 for IE, when I go to windows control panel-flash player it says activex version not installed,why wont it show up in there? I use version 8 as it runs better on my system.

Because the Native Control Panel has been introduced with Flash Player 10.x; it probably cannot identify older FP versions.
