Hello -

I want to put a hyperlink into the powerpoint slide so that participants can click the link to launch an external swf. Can this be done? Right now, once I publish the presentation, the hyperlink is no longer active.

Thanks!

Katherine

Hi Katherine,

Please make sure that Hyperlink text don't have any shadow effect. Hyperlink Text without effects works fine in Adobe Presenter 7.0.7

Thanks

Hi there

In addition to what others have posted, in order for links to work when testing locally, you need to ensure the folder where you are running the file from has been added to the "white list" or "approved" list of locations for the Flash Player.

More information on this is at the link below:

Hallo! I have the same problem that you describe above, and have tried the security settings option as described in an answer here, to no avail. Hyperlinks still do not work when I publish a presentation.

Does anyone have any other advice/suggestions I can try?

Thanks

Hi Anne,

Have you tried other option mentioned in above discussion.

Yes I have tried to not have any shadow effect. It still does not work...

It works to hyperlink within the same presentation ... (to another slide) but not to an URL, as an example I tried to link to http://www.vg.no/

But it does not work..

Regards

Anne Siv

Hi Anne,

Please provide me following info:-

1) Please check any other Text Formatting effect is applied to the hyperlink Text?? Please remove all text formatting. HyperlInk will not work for Text having Text Formatting

2) You mentioned that Hyperlink don't work. So, is it not accessible or you can see hand cursor but when you click then hyperlink don't open

If you can share the presentation then it will help us to identify the issue more easily.

Thanks,

Shubhi

Hello Anne

Can you please tell us what is the content of the hyperlink?

Does it open a URL or an attached file?

If its an URL can you please check the global flash security settings and let us know if that is set?

Thanks

Mahesh
