    Color Printing from a Mac

    Tnmike Community Member

I am a very recent convert from a PC running Windows XP to an iMac, OS Lion  and using a Canon MX870.  My test prints to date are terrible.  Colors, hues, contrast - all are different from screen to printed document regardless of the settings I use in Photoshop CS5 or the printer and whether I use the drivers from Canon or the iMac.  I have reviewed many postings on the forums and there seems to be a lot of discussion but no definitive answers. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial, discusssion, book etc that might help me understand and correct my printing difficulties.  Any help is greatly appreciated

not sure about canon, but you may want to post screenshots of your photoshop print window and your key canon and os print settings

i will also suggest you try printing the PDI WhackedRGB.jpg target (google it)

this may also have a clue
