1. Re: Drop Shadow problem in PSE 10

TucsonJeff1 Jan 18, 2012 12:54 AM (in response to 99jon)Hi, 99jon -
I never wanted to delete the pre-existing drop shadow from the first
object. I just wanted to add a drop shadow to the second object (but I'm
glad you pointed out how I could do this easily if I wanted to).
However, some light was shed on this subject with another response I
received from R_Kelly. (S)he asked if I was referring to the Global
Lighting angle. I checked it out and found that, yes, the Global
Lighting angle was the only attribute that was affected. S(he) said that
this phenomenon was an intentional "bug" that first appeared in PSE 5.
And, actually, after thinking about it, it sort of makes sense. If you
have two objects in the same picture, it's more than likely that both
objects are going to be subject to the same lighting angle (unless you
have two or more lamps with objects on either side).
Thanks again, 99jon, for your quick response! I appreciate your help.

TucsonJeff1 Jan 18, 2012 1:00 AM (in response to R_Kelly)Hi, R_Kelly -
Yes, you're right! It's just the Global Lighting angle that seems to
change on all objects. Okay, so I tried your suggestion
(Windows/Effects), and it totally solved the problem. Thanks so much for
your help!
Jeff
