Hello,
I am working with a Robohelp HTML project that was written by a previous writer. In the files that contain numbered list is the following:
<li style="list-style: none; display: inline;"><ul type="1">
<li class="p-First-Steps-Do-Not-Type-Text"><p class="First-Steps-Do-Not-Type-Text"> </p></li>
</ul></li
This style causes the lists to start with the number 2. I want to remove these strings entirely by globally searching and replacing, but the search engine just allows one line and does not recognize more than one. If I combine the lines it doesn't recognize it at all.
I also tried removing the style from the .css, but the "list" style can not be removed.
Doesn't anyone have a suggestion for global replace or removing a list style?
Thanks!
EWF

You need a tool such as FAR from http://www.helpware.net/FAR to search across multiple lines.
I am not seeing why the styles start with 2 though.
What version of RoboHelp are you using? If 8 or above, take a look at Lists on my site.

Thanks, Peter. I have Robohelp 9 (upgraded the project from Robohelp 7)
When I remove the multiple.html lines from the topic (or remove the row in Design Mode), the first number in the list changes from "2" to "1". Right now, I'm editing each topic. I'll look into FAR.
I looked at your lists previously, but couldn't find anything that applied directly, although it may be there and I didn't recognize it!
