What does “didn’t execute” mean? You stepped through the call in the debugger and it skipped over it?
Please describe in exact detail.
What i meant is that on running the following code the compiler shows message "There is no source code avaliable for the current location" on executing the function ASFileAttachmentGetPDFileAttachment()
ASAtom pathType = ASAtomFromString("Cstring");
ASFileSys fileSys = ASGetDefaultFileSys();
ASPathName pathName = ASFileSysCreatePathName(fileSys, pathType, "22.pdf", NULL);
ASBool b = ASFileAttachmentGetPDFileAttachment(fileSys, pathName, &attachment);
Here" 22.pdf" is an attached pdf file.
Are you using the Acrobat 9 (or X) SDK? That API was introduced in Acrobat 9 SDK.
I am using acrobat 9 sdk.
Just re-read the message – that’s your debugger telling you that you can’t step INTO our API function, but you can step OVER it.
I am using F10 which is a step over and the compiler is showing the same message. I am unable to use this function. Is there any other API to save the content of an attached file into another file?
What if you just run it – does the debugger stop on that call?
On running the code without any break points, the complier does not throw any error. I think it simply returns false on calling the function ASFileAttachmentGetPDFileAttachment(). Am I sending wrong parameters in this function?? Can you please giude me in this.
If you need code-level help, you should open a formal support incident with our Developer Support folks.
