Hi. I'm new to Captivate and just created a movie by importing a Powerpoint presentation and recording my script for each slide. I wanta it to run continuously from one slide to the next without the viewer having to click the mouse in between slides. There is probably a simple and obvious way to do this, but I have yet to find it. I figured asking someone might be the quickest solution. Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Welcome to our community, Jane

When you import the slides from PowerPoint, you have two options. One is for creating slides as Animations or Background images. The other is for allowing playback to "Advance slide" "On mouse click or Automatically". Sounds like you need to choose the option for Advancing the slides Automatically.

Cheers... Rick

Hi Rick,

Cool! Thanks for the immediate response. ...

I thought I might have to go back to the drawing board and start with Powerpoint...

If I re-import the slides, will I be able to re-use the recording I already made? Seems like I read that I could...will it be a one screen at a time process or can I do it in one fell-swoop?

Thanks so much for your assistance!

Jane

Hi Jane

You know, in your case it may be a pretty simple process to just edit one of the Click Box objects on any of the slides and remove the pause. Then choose the "Apply to all" function to turn it off.

Cheers... Rick

Okay...So, I figured out how to use the Library...But now my question is this: When I drag the audio clip onto my slide...it no longer displays in the edit view the way it did in the original video. How do I edit the clip?
