Looking for new editor

Hi everyone,

Lately I'm programming more and more Object Orientated in Coldfusion. I have a Java programming background and in Eclipse IDE it's so easy when an object has been created Eclipse auto completion displays the methods for the object while typing.

This is something I really mis in Dreamweaver when programming OO in Coldfusion.

Is there an editor that can do this? I tried CFEclipse, but as far as I could see it doesn't support this. Will Coldfusion Builder be able to do this?

Thanks!

Yep, CFB already does it, but it's nowhere near as good as it is in the Ecplise java perspective, unfortunately (IMO the implementation is incomplete, and not really "production ready" in quality).  But better than CFE, anyhow.

Hi Adam,

Is Coldfusion Builder the IDE that is the best in doing this?

Thanks!

It's the only official CF "IDE".  It's better than CFE and DW for writing code.
