1. Re: Photoshop CS5 not printing correctly
TLL... Jan 26, 2012 9:02 AM (in response to ElectrifyingIS)Have you tried to print the file from another imaging app? Not knowing if you're on a Mac or PC I can't recommend one specifically. This is most likely a driver incompatibility issue between PS and the Xerox Phaser. Don't expect much help from Adobe. Check that you have the latest drivers installed for the printer. This is not uncommon from PS CS5, as I get the exact same thing if I print to Adobe Acrobat 9 from Photoshop!?

2. Re: Photoshop CS5 not printing correctly
ElectrifyingIS Jan 26, 2012 9:41 AM (in response to TLL...)HP Compaq 8100 Elite is a PC. The printer driver is up to date. Printing from PS CS5 to any other printer does not give this issue. Printing from any other program to the Xerox printer also does not give this issue.

gator soup Jan 26, 2012 9:52 AM (in response to ElectrifyingIS)you don't offer any clue into the obvious...try posting a screenshot of your Ps print dialoge (File> Print)
also a screen shot of Image> Image Size may help...

Mylenium Jan 26, 2012 9:56 AM (in response to ElectrifyingIS)Xerox Phaser 7760DN PS
Well, PS stands for PostScript and there are multiple language levels/ versions of it. If the driver allows, choose a more compatible older one, e.g. level 2 in favor of level 3. Similarly, the printer itself or the driver may offer means to control how specific sub-sets are interpreted, for instance with regards to font handling. Such printing errors often come down to "bad" PostScript being misinterpreted by the printer. If all else fails, also look whether you can install it with PCL emulation or similar wit ha different driver. That may also work...

gator soup Jan 26, 2012 10:52 AM (in response to ElectrifyingIS)>> can you try making sense?
File> Print gives you a photoshop print dialog that among other things previews your layout, scaling and printer
Image> Image Size gives you the document size
seeing both of those would help someone rule out how Ps is interacting with your printer/os settings, ie, the most obvious
how to take a screenshot (try a web search)
good luck

8. Re: Photoshop CS5 not printing correctly
zuhaer Apr 11, 2012 12:51 AM (in response to ElectrifyingIS)I have the same problem,
This problem appeared after installing the ATI Radeon Catalyst for 6570
HP Compaq 8100 Elite running Win 7 Pro x64 SP1
Adobe Photoshop CS5 patched to 12.0.4
Xerox Phaser 7760DN PS
Solution: (it seems not related but worked fine)
I have tried to disable OpenGl form Adobe PS > Preferences > Performance - Enable OpenGL Drawing
Now i can print the actual size with no problem
