Is there a way to add a tooltip to drop down hotspots?

Ive had a look at the style within RH but cant find any options that would add this in, and I am not really sure what I would need to add to the CSS file if this was an option.

Many Thanks

Hi abdab35,

Add the title tag to the code and pop your text in quotes...
title="Add you tooltip text here"

For example

<a class=dropspot x-use-popup=#POPUP157471544
x-popup-type=pulldown
href="javascript:kadovTextPopup(this)"
id=a1 title="Add you tooltip text here">Drop down title text goes here </a><!--begin!kadov{{--><script type="text/javascript" language=JavaScript1.2><!--
kadovTextPopupInit('a1');
//--></script><!--}}end!kadov-->

Is that what you need?
Kind Regards
Craig

is there a way of adding this into the CCS, so the change is made globaly rather than recoding each entry.

i'm willing to be corrected but I don't think this is possible. You could use a find and replace tool (e.g. FAR) to add the required string into the HTML files.

hi abdab,

Firstly, what exacly do you want to do?

Do you want to add exactly the same tooltip for each drop-down hotspot in your help system?

Many thanks
Craig
