cgrinnell Feb 21, 2012 10:25 AM (in response to shooternz)I don't have any of those files on my computer. There is no file structure like that for me. I know there are a handful of other people on Reduser who are having the same problem and would love a solution.

Tester345 Feb 22, 2012 1:56 PM (in response to cgrinnell)After you have uninstalled/re-installed Premiere, are you opening an existing project? Can you try creating a new project and then do you see the missing presets.

Wil Renczes Feb 22, 2012 2:09 PM (in response to Tester345)If you're running the trial build, the RED presets won't load, as they depend on MPEG for the preview format.
Also, if you're planning on using RED EPIC, you'll need to install the Adobe Labs version of the RED plugins:

Wil Renczes Feb 22, 2012 4:17 PM (in response to Ann Bens)My bad, my brain has glazed over from too many releases. You're right, they finally sorted that out for CS5.5 so that the trial would be more fully featured.
*edit* however, the problem could still be the same - if the RED presets aren't available, there's a good chance that MPEG is also somehow turned off. I'd be interested in knowing if the OP is missing MPEG related content...

Ann Bens Feb 22, 2012 4:19 PM (in response to Wil Renczes)You might be right there. Op has no mpeg at all, looks like a trial as in CS5.

Todd_Kopriva Feb 22, 2012 6:38 PM (in response to Ann Bens)We've seen a few underlying causes for this issue, which trace back to the licensing/activation system not properly unlocking these "protected" codecs. Yes, they are unlocked in the trial, but they are still treated differently in terms of how they are installed and activated.
Charlie (cgrinnell) reported elsewhere that he was able to get past this issue by using a new serial number.
