Installed Flash Player 11 but it is not being recognized

Hi - I had to recover my computer. I am running Vista SP2 32 bit. I have IE 9 installed. I have tried to de-install and re-install Flash Player as directed in the forums. I even tried to install version 10 from the Archived Versions, but had an issue. I also have Scripting Enabled, Trusted site security to Medium, and ActiveX is not checked. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance. Steve.

Carl - thank you very much. The Flash Add-on was disabled. Not sure how I did not come across this post earlier....but THANKS!
