AtonMusic Feb 23, 2012 12:16 PM (in response to Keith Moreau)Keith,
I dont believe this to be possible, sorry. Great idea though.
Perhaps you should submit that to adobe.
If you want to familiarize yourself witht what is possible keyboard shorcut wise, just open the Keyboard short cuts in PPRO and spend 10 minutes there.
I did that once and there is a LOT you can do...

Keith Moreau Feb 23, 2012 12:52 PM (in response to AtonMusic)Thanks, I do have a ton of shortcuts, so I'm pretty familiar with that feature, but seems like there should be a way to quickly apply a preset, maybe there is a trick, like making it a favorite affect or something, and then applying a shortcut to that, I'll explore, just hoping somebody would have a simple answer.

JSS1138 Feb 23, 2012 1:10 PM (in response to Keith Moreau)The only way I know of is to change the default transition to your preset. The keyboard shortcut is CTRL-D.
I don't think you can have more than one, though. So you will lose the dissolve shortcut.

Ann Bens Feb 23, 2012 2:15 PM (in response to JSS1138)A preset is an custom made video effect and not a transition.
You cannot set a shortcut to an effect.
So in short the answer is no.
