1. Re: How to put two videos to play simultaneously on a PDF with a common play button
markerline Feb 23, 2012 1:45 PM (in response to Maesumi)A rather quick solution for this would be to use the latest version of InDesign to create your intearactivity and Publish to an Interactive PDF

Dave Merchant Feb 24, 2012 1:04 AM (in response to Maesumi)@markerline - this question has nothing to do with InDesign.
@Maesumi - you can send multimedia commands from links and buttons in a PDF file. These include the ability to play, stop and rewind video annotations.
Add both videos to the PDF using Acrobat Pro, then create a button. Click 'all properties' then under the button 'actions' tab, choose "mouse up" and "multimedia operation Acrobat 9 and later". Press ADD then select the first video, and the operation to perform. When the popup closes, press ADD again and select the other video, plus the same operation. This will stack two actions on the button. Repeat the process to create buttons for play, stop, etc. as you need.
The same can be done with a link, by choosing the "custom" link type to open the actions dialog box.
Note that with the default video widget you cannot link the playbar controls in the videos. That's only possible with a custom widget and some scripting.
