1. Re: "Post Result" button not displaying when linking to Acrobat.com
sanna13gs Feb 24, 2012 7:47 AM (in response to samdavisuk)I have a question about this as well. The "post results" button appears only when the learner passes the course, but I want it to show whether they pass or not and then report results.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

Johan van Eeden Mar 8, 2012 9:13 PM (in response to samdavisuk)Hi
Same problem here, and it's incredibly frustrating.
I've created a quiz in Captivate 5.5, and followed the instructions for setting up the Quiz Preferences to be reported to Adobe.com, but the "Post Results" button is nowhere to be found on the Quiz Results page.
In the Quiz Results Analyzer, the quiz is listed, with its correct details, but of course there are no results available, since they're not getting fed through from Captivate.
I've spent hours trying to solve this problem. As with numerous other problems with Captivate, I've found that many, many, many hours are lost in trying to get the program to do something that it's supposed to be doing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Johan

3. Re: "Post Result" button not displaying when linking to Acrobat.com
Johan van Eeden Mar 11, 2012 9:20 PM (in response to samdavisuk)Hi
Thanks to Rod Ward for kindly suggesting a solution, which I also figured out simultaneously over the weekend. This might not be the solution to Samdavisuk and Sanna13Gs's problems, above, but it worked for me:
I discovered (bit of a red face here ...) that Captivate had in fact added the Post Result button - in the scrap area of the slide.
Since my screen was set to "Best Fit" I was not aware that the button had been added off to the right of the slide, out of sight. Whereas other applications (more sensibly, IMHO) tend to add "new" objects in the dead centre of the work area, so the user can drag them to their proper location, Captivate seems to add new objects where it thinks the user might want them to be: which in this case was off the page, to the right, in the scrap area. Samdavisuk, it might be worth rechecking your Quiz Results page carefully, including the scrap area ....

4. Re: "Post Result" button not displaying when linking to Acrobat.com
sanna13gs Mar 29, 2012 12:32 PM (in response to Johan van Eeden)Unfortunately, Johan's solution isn't working for me.
The only thing that seems to be working is to set the passing score to '0' and then instead of using the build in pass/fail messages, I might use an advanced action to control displaying quiz pass/fail messages.
