Tone control button in Library module

The tone control buttons in the library module--does anyone use them?  I find them pretty worthless.  If I had sliders, however, I'd really like to do some quick adjustments.  So, if you could please make these controls more useful that would be great.  Thanks.

You mean the Quick Develop? Yes, they are very useful particularly when doing rough edits of images whose base tone don't match. You can use QD in Library as well as Survey mode to get images closer together. Also note that unlike Develop, QD has the ability to do relative adjustments to the images. So, regardless of the settings, you can lighten/darken images at the same time. You can also adjust not only raw, but JPEGs and TIFFs at the same time. BTW, if you hover over the controls, the tool tips tell what the adjustment will be per click. Very useful if you know how to use it.

As for the sliders/arrows situation, I prefer arrows.  Maybe I should recommend the sliders be eliminated from the Develop module to match my own preferences?

Nah...I'd rather have arrows that act as relative adjustments in Develop as well, so I could work the way I like and have relative adjustments on all the controls.
