What do the application developers need to do to convert from winhelp to webhelp?

I apologize for the basic nature of this question. I've tried several searches and haven't found a simple answer (perhaps there isn't one).

What do developers need to change in an application to convert from WinHelp to webhelp? Can someone point me to a good reference?

The help system uses context-sensitive help extensively, including image maps (still .shg, of course).

Thanks for whatever help you can provide.

Maybe the link in Item 7 at http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm#rhword will help. It is the only source of information I know of for conversion. There is other information on my site about calling help and that has a link to Willam van Weelden's site but I don't think either sources have anything about converting.

Thanks--"calling" is the word I needed to know. Snippet 110 at http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets_original.htm got me on the right track

Presumably Google found that page. I have just deleted it.

The correct location is http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm  Item 4 in section 3

Actually, it was from the search on your site (the joy of content managment systems).

That'll teach me to update search in a hurry. Hopefully that too is now fixed. Thanks for letting me know.
