The question was supposed to be . . . my Flash Player worked fine until Norton anti-virus was installed.  Have tried to re-install FP, acts like it installs ok, but then still isn't detected.  Windows 7/32 bit

I'm sure it is some setting in Norton, but I can't figure it out.

My best advice would be to stay well away from Norton/Symantec ware.  However, that is your decision; I won't question it.

What do you mean "isn't detected" - do you get an error message when trying to use Flash?

Can you see the Flash animation at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ ?

What files do you have in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash ?

Have you tried a clean install of Flash Player?

Norton is bloated crapware, in my opinion. I try to stay away from all Symantec products.
