Download these two files:'

Windows 64-bit: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash _player_64bit.exe

Exit browser and disconnect from the Internet.

Run uninstaller and reboot.

Delete the Flash folder in folders C:\Windows\System32\Macromed and C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed.

Delete the Flash Player folder in %appdata%\Adobe and %appdata%\Macromedia.

Run installer.

Hi  Tried this.  No luck - none repaired - non needed repair.  error is

install_flash_player_ax_64bit.exe – Bad Image

C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Local\Temp\MSIMG32.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.  Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Error: general installation error

Can anyone help?

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

The only minor hiccup with the instructions, was location of the appdata folders. I found them (on my machine) C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Roaming.

Also, don’t know if it made any difference, but I disconnected from the internet again after the reboot and before doing anything else – figured it couldn’t hurt.

Thank you every so much again.
