Regarding Adobe Flash

I have an HP2010i with Windows 7.  I had Adobe Flash when I purchased the computer.  For some reason unkown to me it disappeared.  I have been trying to reinstall the Adobe Flash but it will not stay.  Adobe Reader has held up but Flash says the download is complete but when I try to open a program which requires Flash it says I don't have it and do I want to download.  Can you give me any suggestions on how to proceed?

What web browser do you use?

It is not enough to download Flash Player, you also need to install it.
