dan_hin Oct 31, 2011 3:30 AM (in response to Production Monkey)Bloody hell.
When the best resource for developers bites the dust, you know it's not going to be long before Director is EOL'ed.
I'm glad I made the switch to Air a few months ago.

Albatros22 Nov 4, 2011 1:56 AM (in response to dan_hin)Found a new reason to stay with director: Dispite I use director for years, not until quite recently I discovered the possibilities to use 3D with orthogonal camera for 2D applications. Incredibly fast, high quality (e.g. rotations are not comparable with 2D rotations) in comparison to 2D director and by the way also with flash / air. I'm asking myself why I didn't discover these possibilities earlier, could have used them where I used imaging lingo and it would have been much easier to implement, eg for an accordion control.

Mister MUX Mar 6, 2012 12:31 PM (in response to Production Monkey)I knew the forums were closed for new posts, but now the posts seem to be gone completely. I went to search for an old post of mine because someone (I think it was you Randal) had replied with some code that I needed. Dag nab it.
