Yes I can, the password it´s ok. Could it be an installation problem? last week, this folio builder panel was running ok, but in this moment, the panel, don´t let me sign in, in this image you can see the actual state of the panel, and it doesn´t change...
pd.: i´m running Indesign CS5, Folio Builder Panel v.18.104.22.168 and Folio Producer tools V. 1.8.0.
Have you tried reinstalling the tools?
Yes, of course, i did it...
I'm not sure what's causing this problem. Have you tried signing out and signing back in?
I can´t sign in, the panel shows the message you can see in the attached image all the time, i don´t know what to do, i hope that next upgrade, on monday, will solve the problem...
Try creating a different Adobe ID and signing in. Make sure that your Adobe ID doesn't have special characters. If that works, then we know it's a problem with the Adobe ID. If it doesn't work, it's a problem with the panel setup.
Hi, i have another Adobe ID, but the problem is that the panel doesn´t let me to sign in, i think i will wait the next upgrade to see if the problem will solve...thanks
You can log out from CS Live. On the top right cornor of the InDesign app, you should see the "CS Live" icon and sign out from there. then you can relaunch your Folio builder panel and try to sign in again.
I´m having the same problem with the CS Live panel, it doesn´t let me to sign in or sing out, it says me that there are an internal error, i just have downloaded the new upgrades, and the folio builder panel says me that the user name is different than the password, but it´s imposible to input a new one, who can i reset this panel, how can i delete the user preferences??
Restart Indesign Preferences:
(Windows) Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
(Mac OS) While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
Thanks, i did it, i reinstalled the program too, and the problem didn´t finish, reinstall de CS5 complete suite is the next thing i will do...
It sounds like an old password has been captured in the auto-login settings and is preventing you from entering the current, correct password. To remove the captured password, so the following:
1) Quit InDesign and any other CS apps
2) Use the Activity Monitor to quit the CS5ServiceManager or CS5.5Service Manager
3) Next delete this file based on version:
4) Then remove this item from the Keychain Access based on version:
To remove from the keychain:
- Navigate to /Applications/Utilities and launch the Keychain Access.app
- If the lock icon in the upper left appears locked, click on it and enter your password to unlock it.
- Select the “login” item in the Keychains list in the top left.
- Select “Passwords” from the category list.
- Type “renga” in the search field in the top right.
- Select any matches and press the delete key.
Yeah man!!!!!, that was the problem and this is the correct solution, now the folio builder panel is working without trouble, thanks a lot!!!
I am a Win-User. I have tried to start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. and I clicked Yes when asked if I wanted to delete preference files. Nevertheless the login panel remains still blocked (on the 'CS Live Link' top right and on the Folio Builder as well). The message I get in this case is that the user and the psw don't agree...
Is there a way to change the user account and/or the password? Unfortunately this installation was made by someoneelse and I have the faintest idea of what he has used...
