I've seriously tried every idea in this forum. I've been trying to download this for 3 days now.

My OS is Windows XP

My browser is Internet Explorer 8

I have AVG antivirus

I have turned everything off (including firewalls), I don't have a new version installed( I used to, then it got deleted), I've done the disk clean up, defragmented, and anything else I could do. It will not download.

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME????

(the direct links to flash player in the forum don't work either. I tried.)

What do you mean by "don't work" - do you get an error message, or what exactly happens?

I can download all installers from the links in

P.S. make sure you download the 32-bit installers for your XP system.

Now I'm getting the "newer version already installed" error. As for this....C:/'Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash....My computer says it doesn't exist on it.

Download and run the 32-bit uninstaller first (near the bottom of http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550).
