I think that this should work with CF8. I don't see any CF9-ish code in the example CFC

Thanks jrunrandy,

I need your help to set this up, because it does not work for me. I had no  problem using cf8 and flex 3, but when I upgraded to flex 4. I can get this to work. Can  you please help me get this working.

Thanks

Sure. But help me understand:

* Are you talking about configuring your Flash Builder project to point to CF8?

or

* Are you, in fact, using Data-Centric Development (the topic of the page you commented on)? This feature was new in Flash Builder 4.

or

* Is your project configured OK, but not running properly?

Please provide more info and I'll see what I can do.

It’s a little of both.

When creating my project in flash builder.

I get this error ‘channel not found for reference ‘my-cfamf-secure’¸ so I don’t know if it’s a configuration problem.

Although not exactly the same issue, it looks like steps 3-9 of http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/407/kb407866.html might be what you need.

Thanks Randy,

I looked at the link, but I do not have {cfroot}\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\WEB-INF\flex, below is my CF directory. _imCF8.jpg
