"User not activated"?

I've had my Nook Color for over a year and have been downloading books from the library to it using Digital Editions. I haven't put any new books from the on for a couple months and today when I tried, I found that while I am able to copy the books from Digital Editions to the Nook, when I try to read them on the Nook I get an error message that says "User not activated". I was activated before, so I don't know why I am not now. How do I get my Nook re-activated?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Jim Lester posted a blog entry recently saying that the latest Nook

software update had a bug in it. That may explain your problem - or not....
