Anti-Aliasing an object from a matted background?

Hello and thank you for your time,

I have a series of TIFF frames with no alpha comprising and animation. The backgroud is white. In a last minute design decision that I made, I knocked out, or removed the white backgroud using the "Change Colour" effect so the the background is empty or black. I played around with the tolerances and softness to get the desired look.

But now, the object in the foreground has pixelated or aliased edges because the background has been removed.

Is there a way to apply an anti-alias to the scene so that it will anti-alias the edges from the objects?
