rlinsurf1 May 3, 2009 1:14 AM (in response to rlinsurf1)Hello?
Anyone here?
Just to let you know, the same server settings for several different servers are working fine in DW. I also trashed my GL prefs file. That didn't help either.

Not many - discontinued application!
What version of Golive, what operating system, have you changed anything that might be relevant - like a system upgrade?

rlinsurf1 May 3, 2009 7:37 PM (in response to Kath-H)Heh. I wish that weren't the case. I love GL.
Thanks for responding, Kath.
It's GL 9.0, OS 10.5.6, and no, I don't remember changing anything relevant. I've even re-installed GL from scratch, to no avail.

Kath-H May 3, 2009 10:39 PM (in response to rlinsurf1)Ah. I never 'upgraded' to GL9. Have you got Fetch or any other ftp application? I've been using that for years, I gave up on Golive's ftp function around version 6. I just wondered if the same site would upload any other way?
There's a free trial available here: http://fetchsoftworks.com/

rlinsurf1 May 3, 2009 10:49 PM (in response to Kath-H)Hi, Kath--
That worked! I tried the test server in Fetch, and it brought up an alert from my firewall, which for some reason was blocking GL's connections.
Thanks so much .

jgcalifornia Mar 14, 2012 6:37 AM (in response to rlinsurf1)Hi, I am having the same problem, opening files, i get a timeout error 0, or none of the folders will open in GoLive.
I was wondering, if i dont have any firewall on, or anything like that, what it could be, or if you had a solution?
thank you!
