Cannot download and install Adobe Digital Editions - Both Flash and Link utterly broken

I have been unable to download and install the Digital Editions software.

When using the Flash Based installer (from this page http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/#fp ) it failes saying the there was a download error.

When I go via the support KB page (http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/cant-install-digital-editions.html) and try to download the installer from here (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb403051/attachments/setup.exe), the link is broken taking me to some asian language adobe page (http://www.adobe.com/special/errorpages/404.html) ?

Please... what gives?
