xauthor Mar 20, 2012 5:12 PM (in response to MichaelKazlow)I loaded the equation edtion with esc m m and tried control-shift hypen. That did not create the subscript template.

3. Re: FrameMaker 9.0 Equation editor subscript
bruno@CD Aug 23, 2012 6:26 AM (in response to xauthor)This shortcut (Esc m followed by Ctrl+Shift+_) does not work in FrameMaker 10 either. This is very annoying since I enter a lot of equations and subscripts appear in almost all of them. A fix would be most appreciated.

4. Re: FrameMaker 9.0 Equation editor subscript
Arnis Gubins Aug 24, 2012 10:50 AM (in response to bruno@CD)Works for me (tried all of FM7.2 to FM11).
Do you have the operator selected first (e.g. the "?" is highlighted reversed black with white character) and is the focus in the equation rather than the equation palette?
With the operator selected, type: <esc> m <ctrl> <shift> -
