1. Re: Bridge CS6 re-extracting layered tif previews
PECourtejoie Mar 22, 2012 1:00 PM (in response to Evil Lair)Hi! did you give enough time to finish extracting the thumbnails.
What are your settings: full size? Size of the tiffs?

2. Re: Bridge CS6 re-extracting layered tif previews
Evil Lair Mar 22, 2012 1:18 PM (in response to PECourtejoie)It defininetly finishes the extraction before I try anything else. I can set it to a folder and switch to another program and see that it finishes, then click on Bridge and it starts extracting again, every single time I switch away and back. If it is in the middle of extracting a folder and I switch to Bridge it starts all over again. The thumbnails themselves stay the high quality extracted versions and I can instantly full-screen-preview any file, but at the bottom of the window it displays that it is extracting the thumbnails and when it finishes it does that color shift thing for all the thumbnails when it normaly finishes extracting.
I was hoping they would fix the performance for layered tif files as well since it is glacial compared to extracting .psd's.

Evil Lair Mar 22, 2012 1:34 PM (in response to PECourtejoie)I changed "JPEG and TIFF Handling" to Disable TIFF support, that seems to have fixed it.

PECourtejoie Mar 22, 2012 2:08 PM (in response to Evil Lair)Glad it worked. What was the size of the TIFs, and the size of Camera Raw's cache?
