I hope that was sarcasm.
We're about as much post-PC as we are in a paperless office. (lots of hype, disconnected from reality)

So you're saying the iPad is not worth developing software for, huh? Agreed.
@Agfaclack, If you think multi-touch is just for smartphone apps, here's some videos of a few multi-touch interaction features that would be perfect for Adobe software:

Also, why is some multi-touch hardware supported, but not the standard multi-touch interface that all future Windows 8 PCs will include?

Plognark Mar 23, 2012 2:54 PM (in response to AdamZ1977)I currently use a Fujitsu T901 tablet PC for my illustration business. Windows 7/8 based multitouch features are completely relevant to my interests.
Wacom penabled dual digitizer tech isn't exotic or rare; it's been around for years, even if it's not as common as a dedicated wacom tablet like an Intuos or bamboo touch.
Even more infuriating is that the touch functionailty is supported in Mac OS for touch screens, but not windows.
I don't even want to get as crazy as project Gustav; all I want is touch-panning, touch-rotation, and pinch zoom. Is that too much to ask? Those features are available, right now, in software like ArtRage.

Plognark Mar 23, 2012 3:00 PM (in response to Plognark)Ok; I lied; panning appears to work... mostly. I would really, really like it if I could pan the screen even when the image isn't necessarily smaller than the display area. Is there currently a way to do this? Just because the scroll bars aren't there doesn't mean I don't want to reposition the image on the screen a bit.
I believe that CS3 or 4 had this ability, and it went away with one of the newer versions.
