Image Auto tone vs auto enhance brightness and contrast-cs6

From reading the pdf Cs6 beta feature notes under the Auto adjustment section it says:

"Note:

Image>Auto Tone applies the Enhance Brightness and Contrast in Levels"

From trying the two adjustments the results seem different.

Am i understanding right that there supposed to be the same?

Windows 8cp 32 bit.
