Shuffling Questions won't work

Hi there,

I'm using Presenter 7.0.6 and I have the following problem:

I have a group of questions (30 questions), and I choose 25 out of these 30 questions for a quiz.

So far, so good.

But: I also chose: "Shuffle questions" in all the fields I found, but still each time I (and others) open this quiz, it's always the same 25 questions and always the same order.

So, they are not shuffled at all...

Also, the viewser.xml correctly shows shuffleQuestions="1"

What am I doing wrong???

Hi,

There are two option to enable shuffling:-

1) Edit Quiz> Quiz Settings> Shuffle question

2) Edit Question Group> Settings> Shuffle question

Since you want shuffling withing Question Group. So, make sure 2nd one is checked.

unfortunately this doesn't work. I made sure that both of these buttons are checked, but unforturtunately it doesn't work...

Even the viewer.xml has the correct settings as written above, but without success.

Is this a known bug for version 7.0.6?

Its working for me in Presenter 7.0.7. You can do free upgrade to Presenter 7.0.7 from following location :-http://www.adobe.com/products/presenter/?promoid=DJDXB

Use presenter 7.0.6 serial number to serialize 7.0.7

Unfortunately, it doesn't...

I updated to 7.0.7, and I tried all combinations (Shuffle Questions yes/no in both the quiz and the question group), but the questions won't shuffle at the next reload.

It's very strange: As soon as I change manually one of the settings directly in the viewer.xml, Presenter will indeed shuffle the questions at the very next start, but just once and this order will stay unchanged for all the next starts.Even if I copy the complete folder to a new location, this order stays the same!!!

Does Presenter store the order of the questions somewhere? It somehow looks like that. I even emptied the browser cache, but even when opening the presentation on my hard drive (offline), it just don't work.

I really assume that this is a bug! Nasty and unneccessary...

Update:

Even without a question group, it doesn't work.

I just have an ordinary quiz with a bunch of questions, but the option "Shuffle Questions" has no effect .
